Deviating from his regular, more subdued progressive style, but not content to fall into regular club-style patterns, Altair’s ‘Shadows’ provides a glimpse into the darker side of electro house and breaks.
With deep, melodic bass lines blended with grungy, electric chords and punctuated by rock and indie-style vocals, this release has just the right flavor to bring out the darkness dwelling within.
So take a step into the Shadows, and let your dark side take control.

DJ’s Note: “This is quite a departure from my regular style, so the transitions between tracks may seem a little sharp at times (at least coming from a progressive standpoint). That said, I think I did a reasonable job of maintaining a continuous flow, with the occasional lapse where I probably could have tightened up track lead-ins. There’s a couple more mainstream tracks in there (‘Hey Baby’ in particular), but for the most part these are some relative unknowns, which hopefully will be a breath of fresh air for most of you. I’ve wanted to give some coverage to the lesser-known styles for a while now, which was part of the reason I decided to make my first CD release a tribute to them. Be sure to listen to the end for a truly excellent cut between tracks!”
